In continuation of our awareness creation and self defense empowerment programme for the female folks against the ever increasing menace of physical violence and sexual assaults militating against the female folks in this contemporary society, GUTS-DA in its usual practice is organizing its free seminar on Feminine Self Defense Empowerment for all female folks from all works of life and students of 16 years above. Participation and training is free.
Why creating awareness and self defense empowerment?
• Majority of the female folks are not informed about the increase in threats of physical violence and sexual assaults in our society which does not exempt anyone irrespective of social status.
• That the crime of physical violence and sexual assault could be perpetrated anywhere and by anyone irrespective of social status.
• That the crime is a social phenomenon that cannot be eradicated totally from our contemporary society.
• That even female folks can perpetrate the same crime against their female folks.
• That one can avoid, prevent and protect herself through acquired knowledge and skill against the threat.
• That with as a female they can physically defend themselves against the assaults.
Why as female you need to be self defense skill empowered?
• Have you been attacked anywhere before?
• Have you been afraid of assault walking alone or been in lonely place?
• Have you ever thought of what you would do just in case you were attacked?
• Have you ever thought of what to do if you were attacked from mounted position?
• Have you ever thought of what you would do in a situation where attack is imminent?
