Remember what our brother told us
Many years ago before he tossed himself
Like an adventurous stone into a foreign land
Slaving day and night like a monkey for peanuts
Washing corpses of those who died of leprosy
Licking fingers of soured leftover soup
Being a lap dog and kissing the toes of expired women.

He said some strange men locked up our fate
Deep inside a great vault built at the hasu rock
And threw the key mercilessly into the great sea
Which ebb and flow floundered to foreign land.
How he needs to swim to a foreign land to retrieve the key.

Those men are here again
As usual, they are not ashamed
To dance naked in the marketplace
Empty promises dangling between their lips.
They murdered our glorious past
Our present is romanced to a drunken stupor
And have pitiably impregnated our future.

Let us not use Hell to frighten people in life. Let us use the consequences of their sins in life to frighten them.

One of the significant activities of Holy Thursday is the washing of the feet of the apostles by Christ.

It shows that despite being a King who was welcomed into Jerusalem as such, Jesus humbled himself as a servant by playing such a role. He commanded his apostles to do so too.

How many leaders assume the position of servants? Even those who bear the name such as Ministers; the Latin word for servant (Civil and Ecclesiastic) find it difficult to play such roles in real life.

If you must lead, then you must learn to serve.

Agencies are set up to assist the citizens and also protect them at all times.
What do you see these days? Police, FRSC, LASTMA, MOE accounting for the number of culprits they have caught, exploited and punished and will never account for the number of lives they have protected and saved.
This intimidation makes the people look at them as enemies instead of friends.

POWER
There are two powers; that of good and that of evil.

While some people apply the good to develop the world and beyond.
Others apply evil to destroy what has been created by God and other good people.
Power is in the brain where knowledge is created and not in the school.
School is the reflection or repetition of the knowledge deposited by wise people who lived earlier on.
