Cowrie Rugby FC, Lagos Cowrie Rugby Football Club are a Nigerian Rugby Union team set up in 2005. We participate in the Annual South-West Mens League, Dubai 7s and Cape Town Tens

The club have won many trophies in recent years. Our first major Tournament outside Nigeria was at the Inaugural Cape Town Rugby 10's, South Africa in the year 2009/2010, where we reached the plate semi's on both occasions. We were PLATE winners at the Emirates Dubai 7s (International Open Section) in 2013

Congratulations, Aaron! 🇫🇷🏉 Aaron Grandidier Nkanang OLY

Everyone at Cowrie Rugby Club extends our warmest congratulations to Aaron Grandidier-Nkanang on making your senior debut for France Rugby against Australia last weekend.

To mark your debut with a try is a remarkable achievement and a testament to your hard work, dedication, and talent. It is always inspiring to see players who have graced our club go on to perform at the very highest level of the game.

We are incredibly proud of your journey and wish you continued success as you wear the French jersey. May this be the first of many memorable performances on the international stage.
