Subject: Eid al-Fitr Prayer Time and Venue Notification

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,

We are pleased to announce that the Sultan of Sokoto has officially declared the end of Ramadan, and the celebration of Eid al-Fitr will be held tomorrow 30/3/2025. As part of our tradition, NASFAT will gather for the Eid al-Fitr prayer at the NASFAT Lagos Island Branch Islamic Centre.

The prayer will begin promptly at 10:00 AM. Please be reminded to arrive early to ensure a smooth and orderly gathering.

Venue: NASFAT Lagos Island Branch Islamic Centre 34, Bankole Street, Apongbon, Lagos Island, Lagos.

We urge all members to come together in unity for this important occasion, which marks the end of our blessed month of Ramadan. It is a time to thank Allah (SWT) for His mercy, forgiveness, and blessings throughout this holy month. We also encourage you to invite family and friends to join us in the celebration and make this day memorable for all.

After the prayer, there will be a brief gathering where we will also observe the Eid festivities as we celebrate the joy of the occasion with our community.

Additionally, we advise all members to observe the following:

1. Zakat al-Fitr: Please ensure that Zakat al-Fitr has been paid before the Eid prayer. This is an essential part of the Eid celebration.

2. Safety Measures: We encourage all members to follow any health guidelines in place at the time of the event to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone attending.

As we come together to offer our prayers, may Allah (SWT) accept our fasts, forgive our shortcomings, and grant us peace, prosperity, and continued blessings in the coming year.

We look forward to seeing you all at the NASFAT Lagos Island Branch for this joyful and blessed occasion.

This is to inform the general public that Fountain University, Osogbo will be hosting the second edition of the special Ramadan Lecture series today Tuesday, 11th April 2023.

The topic for the lecture is "Masjid: The Centre of Islamic life" and it will be delivered by Dr Busari Kamorudeen, Senior Lecturer, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State. The lecture will commence by 2 PM prompt at the University Mosque.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olayinka Ramota Karim cordially invites all members of staff, students, and the general public to be part of this insightful lecture.
