Ending violence against women requires the involvement of everyone at all levels in society.
✅Faith based leaders are one of the strategic stakeholders in the prevention of sexual and gender based violence as well as violence against women and girls because they have access to different segments of the population, including those who are more marginalized and harder to reach.
✅They are trusted by a large proportion of the members of the community and play a prominent role in shaping community beliefs, practices and behaviour.
The Spotlight Initiative is a global, multi-year partnership between European Union and United Nations to eliminate all forms of violence against women and girls. Project Strength is a UNDP funded project within the SPOTLIGHT Initiative through CEWHIN.
BOF collaborated with CEWHIN and other religious groups and coalitions in a two-day workshop on EVAWG/GBV/SGBV/HP and access to SRHR for women and girls at CIBN Yaba.

Thank you!
BOF had collaborated with Heartminders over the years and surely we can tell of their commitment and passion to liberate every girl child.
You are one of the topmost NGOs that silently help underprivileged people by fighting for children’s rights especially the girl child. For all your good works since inception you deserve an accolades and here at BOF we are all wishing you Happy 10th Year Anniversary. Cheers to Amazing Years of Exploits and Achievements.
