Its incredible we don't give any thought to swimming in Nigeria, while spending fortunes on football. Swimming provides opportunity for winning over a 100 medals at the Olympics and football just one. Do the maths yourself

People learn to swim for different reasons, I group them under 3 Ps; pleasure, praise and pain. You don't want to learn to swim because of pain, if you think that is unreasonable, tell that to the parents of the primary school students who died in the boat mishap last year in Lagos or the many who drown yearly
