*๐คง What REALLY Happens When You Hold in a Sneeze? ๐คง๐คง๐ซ*
Ever been in a quiet room โ like a lecture hall, a church, or during an intense convo โ and that *sneeze starts building up* like as if rain wan fall๐ช๐ฉ๏ธ Your nose twitches, your eyes squintโฆ and boom ๐ฅ you decide to *hold it in*. Sounds polite, abi?
*But wait... ๐ถ๐*
*Hereโs the truth โ holding in a sneeze can be risky business!*
When you *sneeze*, your body forcefully expels air to *clear irritants* from your nose โ itโs your bodyโs natural โnose cleanerโ ๐งน. But when you *pinch your nose and shut your mouth* to suppress it, that pressure has *nowhere to go* โ and thatโs where the trouble starts. ๐
Studies have shown that *suppressing a sneeze* can lead to:
โก๏ธ *Ruptured blood vessels in the eyes or nose* ๐๏ธ๐
โก๏ธ *Ear damage or rupture of the eardrum* ๐ฆป
โก๏ธ *Throat injuries or torn windpipe in extreme cases* (very dangerous ooo๐งโโ๏ธ )
โก๏ธ And even *brain aneurysms or air trapped in the chest* (in VERY rare situations) ๐ง ๐ฅ
Itโs like trying to stop a pressure cooker from releasing steam โ not smart. โ ๏ธ
So next time you feel a sneeze comingโฆ
*Let it out! But do it responsibly.*
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your elbow, *not your hands* ๐, and sneeze away!
Your body will thank you! ๐๐จ
*Your sneeze isnโt rude โ itโs necessary!*
*So please Medics don't try holding your sneeze๐*

๐ง ๐ญ *WHY DO WE FORGET?* ๐ค๐ณ๏ธ
_*A Journey Into the Mystery of Memory*_
I'm sure you have walked into a room and suddenly forgot why you went there? ๐
Or studied hard for a test and then your mind goes blank at the exact moment you need to remember? ๐ญ๐ฉ Youโre not alone โ *forgetting* is something we all experience, but why does it happen? ๐ง ๐
Forgetting isn't always a *bad thing*. In fact, itโs your brainโs way of *organizing what really matters*. Think of your brain like a phone storage system โ if you keep every single picture, video and meme ๐ฑ๐, your phone will slow down. Similarly, your brain *selectively forgets* so you can function better in the present. ๐ฏ
๐ฌ *Scientifically speaking*, forgetting can happen for several reasons:
1๏ธโฃ *Encoding failure* โ Sometimes, the memory never even gets stored properly. You were physically there, but mentally absent. Happens a lot in boring lectures, right? ๐
2๏ธโฃ *Decay theory* โ Memories fade when not used, just like how unused muscles weaken ๐ช๐ด.
3๏ธโฃ *Interference* โ New memories can block old ones and vice versa. Imagine learning a new password and forgetting the old one ๐ตโโ๏ธ๐.
4๏ธโฃ *Retrieval failure* โ The memory is there, but you just canโt access it at that moment โ like it's stuck in a mental traffic jam ๐๐จ.
But donโt worry! ๐ There are ways to *sharpen your memory*:
โ
Get enough sleep ๐
โ
Eat brain-boosting foods like fish & berries ๐๐
โ
Practice spaced repetition when studying ๐
โ
Keep stress in check ๐งโโ๏ธ ๐(check out the video on stress)

Sha next time you forget something, donโt panic ๐ฎโ๐จ โ your brain is just doing a bit of spring cleaning ๐งน๐ง . And who knows, *forgetting* might just be your mindโs way of making room for something even more important โค๏ธโ๐ฅ.
*Keep learning, keep growing* ๐ฑ๐
