Orchid Lekki Chess Club is sad to announce the passing away of our dear member, friend and brother, the legendary Radio Broadcaster, Dan Foster. At Orchid Lekki Chess Club, the man we knew and saw week after week, was one of the finest gentlemen ever, a loving father, and a conduit of wisdom. He was always fun to be around and never had an air around him despite his incredible success in radio broadcasting. He loved the game of chess passionately and inspired us not just to play it but to apply its lessons in life. We will dearly miss you, Dan Foster! Rest In Peace. Congrats to Mr Martins Amabipi Jr on his Election as the Vice President for Chess Players Association of Nigeria(CPAN).

You have always exude quality leadership style and we at Lekki chess Lekki Chess Club are proud of this milestone.

Congrats to CM Oragwu Nonso for winning the Inaugural e4 Genius Chess Tournament last weekend.

Our Female club associate Ms Emmanuella Trust was the best Female Performer at the event and Ms Peace Sampson another associate of our club came second in the female Category.

Our Captain Mr Nathan Ekanem was also on the Podium for best Under 2000 .

After winning the Maiden Edition of CPAN Chess League in 2016, Lekki Chess Club will be making a come back to play at the CPAN Chess League 2019 holding at Chevron Club, Gbagada , Lagos.
