Saudi Arabia has reportedly unveiled plans to construct the world’s first “Sky Stadium,” officially named NEOM Stadium, within the futuristic city known as The Line.
The state-of-the-art arena will be suspended approximately 350 meters (1,150 feet) above the ground, designed to seat around 46,000 spectators, and powered entirely by renewable energy. Scheduled for completion around 2032, the stadium is expected to host matches, up to the quarterfinal stage, during the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
