We operate as a creative incubator, which applies artistic competence as capacities for development.

Sir John Hawley Glover, The second Governor of Lagos Colony (1864 -1872) died in 1885, and The People of Lagos came together to build Glover Memorial Hall in 1887 on a land donated by Madam Efunloye Tinubu.

The Hall has been recently renovated and upgraded by the Lagos State Government. THE PEOPLE CENTRE is partnering with the State, in ensuring that this rich cultural heritage/asset is maximally utilized towards achieving its full potential, as a space dedicated to arts, culture and society.

And just like that, our Summer Dance Class 2026 comes to an end!

From 3rd to 28th August, our young dancers showed up, learned new moves, made new friends, built confidence, and most importantly—had FUN!

The final-day showcase was the perfect way to celebrate all their hard work. Watching the kids take the stage and proudly show their parents what they had learnt was such a beautiful and heartwarming moment.

From the first step to the final bow, we couldn’t be prouder of every single one of them.

Somewhere between a rave, the club, and a Lagos Island rooftop party — but at the heart of it all is the dance floor.

DanceHouse is a high-energy, community-driven experience created to bring back the culture of the dance party: a space where people come together simply to move, connect and feel the music.

No headliners.
No VIP.
No spectators.
No expensive tables.
No segregation.

Just music, movement, connection and good energy.

No pressure to perform. No need to be a professional dancer.

Come as you are. Dance how you feel.

For over a decade, QDance Center has been more than a dance space, it has been a home for artists, and dreamers.
We’ve witnessed growth, celebrated milestones, nurtured talent, and built a community that continues to move the world, one step at a time.
Here’s to every dancer, mentor, student, collaborator, and supporter who has been part of this incredible journey.
