👑 Aya Women’s Socca League: Her game. Her stage. Her crown.
League: 11, 18 & 25 Oct · Semis: 1 Nov · Final: 8 Nov

🏆 Socca League Lagos (men): Six teams. One crown. Only the hungry survive.

Typically, this gathering of Presidents from the national and country Socca associations happens in a conference room in some hotel. Not this time.

We were whisked away — no advance word on where — to a genuinely fascinating Top Golf facility just outside Essen, in Oberhausen. A short address from Christoph, President of the International Socca Federation, good food, plenty of engagement, and yes, golf (a sport I still give the side-eye 😅).

I love seeing/ experiencing facilities and structures like this. They are inspiring, and honestly a little provoking — in the best way (push the challenges of Naija to the back of your minds for a moment). It pushes you to think differently about what may be possible.

A facility like this one feels right up the alley of Mr. 😉
