FC Bako fought back impressively to secure a valuable point in an entertaining Unity Premier League (2026/2027 Season) encounter against Flamingo FC at the Confluence Stadium Training Pitch on Friday, 28 August 2026.

The match ended in a thrilling 2–2 draw, with both teams showing attacking quality and determination throughout the encounter.

Flamingo FC took the lead through Abubakar Yahaya in the 28th minute, before Okpa Umar doubled their advantage in the 55th minute. FC Bako, however, refused to give up and produced a spirited late comeback.

Orakpo Rejoice pulled one back for FC Bako in the 73rd minute, giving the Happy Boys renewed hope. The pressure eventually paid off when Abdul Favour found the back of the net in the 88th minute to level the score at 2–2.
