DATE IS OUT: POST-UTME DIRECT ENTRY SCREENING EXERCISE FOR 2025/2026 SESSION.

The general public is hereby informed that the 2025/2026 Post-UTME Direct Entry Screening Exercise of the Imo State University, Owerri has been scheduled to hold from Tuesday 16th to Saturday, 20th September, 2025. Candidates who have successfully registered for the screening exercise are therefore advised to reprint their Examination slips from Monday 1st September, 2025 using their JAMB Registration Numbers and bring same to the Examination Venue on the scheduled dates.

POST-UTME ELIGIBILITY/CRITERIA FOR IMSU ASPIRANTS

Candidates must have chosen IMSU as first choice and scored at least 150 in JAMB.

Candidates who did not initially choose IMSU but wish to apply can do so by changing their institution to IMSU on the JAMB portal before the POST-UTME registration ends.

Direct Entry candidates must be OND, HND, First Degree, or A' Level holders in relevant fields.
All qualifying results must have been uploaded to the JAMB portal.

Candidates awaiting O’ Level results should ensure they upload them to JAMB once released. Failure to do so will disqualify them from admission.

APTITUDE TEST DATE:

The specific Date and Time* for each candidate’s Screening/Exam will be communicated later on their Acknowledgement Slip during Reprinting

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the 2025 Original UTME Result Slips.

Candidates can now obtain their original result slip.

JAMB CUT-OFF MARK FOR THIS YEAR 2025

The minimum admissible scores for admissions for the next academic session have been fixed at 150 for universities, 100 for polytechnics, 100 for colleges of education and 140 for colleges of nursing sciences by the stakeholders - Heads of Tertiary Institutions.

This is to remind the general public that the IMSU Post Utme Acknowledgement Slip Reprinting is still going on....
