..Life Is Shorter Than We Think
People say life is long.
They tell you, “Relax, there is still plenty of time.”
But the truth is different.
Life passes faster than we imagine — like the blink of an eye.
We spend years waiting.
Waiting to finish school…
Waiting to get a better job…
Waiting to make more money…
Waiting for the “right time” to be happy.
But one day we wake up and realize life was happening while we were waiting.
The house we built will one day belong to someone else.
The car we struggled to buy will grow old and fade away.
The money we chased will remain only numbers in a bank.
But the moments we refused to share with our loved ones —
those moments are gone forever.
Your office can replace you in a week.
But your family can never replace you.
Do not let ego destroy relationships.
If you love someone, tell them today.
If you are wrong, apologize today.
Do not bury your dreams because of fear.
The cemetery is full of books that were never written, songs never sung, and dreams that were never pursued.
The greatest tragedy in life is not death.
It is the life we never lived.
So live today.
Love today.
Forgive today.
Dream today.
Because life is not waiting ahead of you.
Life is happening now.

Lent is a sacred season in the Christian calendar observed by many churches, especially Catholics, Anglicans, and some Protestant denominations. It is a period of spiritual preparation leading up to Easter, the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
📅 The Period of Lent
Lent lasts for 40 days (not counting Sundays).
It begins on Ash Wednesday and ends on Holy Thursday evening, just before the Mass of the Lord’s Supper.
The 40 days symbolize:
The 40 days Jesus fasted in the wilderness
The 40 years the Israelites journeyed in the desert
A time of testing, purification, and spiritual renewal
Because Sundays are considered celebration days of the resurrection, they are not counted as part of the 40 fasting days.
✝️ The Meaning of Lent
Lent is a season of:
Prayer – Growing closer to God through deeper devotion.
Fasting – Self-denial to discipline the body and focus on the spirit.
Almsgiving – Helping the poor and showing love through charity.
Repentance – Turning away from sin and seeking forgiveness.
It is a time for self-examination, humility, and spiritual growth.

We live in a land richly blessed with diversity, diverse languages, diverse histories, diverse traditions. Our tribes carry stories of resilience, wisdom, and identity. They are not accidents of birth; they are inheritances of pride. But diversity, if not managed with maturity, can become a source of tension rather than strength.
Tribal tolerance is not weakness. It is strength under control. It is the ability to stand firm in your identity while allowing others to stand firm in theirs. It is understanding that someone else’s culture does not threaten yours. Respect does not reduce you; it elevates you.
Respect for boundaries is equally important. Boundaries are not signs of hatred they are signs of self-awareness. Every tribe has its values, traditions, and ways of life. When we cross into another’s space physically, culturally, politically we must do so with humility. We must understand that coexistence requires limits. Not every difference must be erased. Not every disagreement must become a battle.
There are moments in history when unity is tested. When conversations become difficult. When visions for the future do not align. In such moments, emotions can rise and suspicion can grow. But maturity demands that even in disagreement, we preserve dignity.
And if, in any circumstance, going separate ways becomes inevitable, then let it be done with respect not resentment. Let it be done with understanding not hostility. Separation without respect breeds future conflict. Separation with respect preserves peace.
We must never allow tribal identity to become a weapon. We must not judge a person’s competence by their surname, nor their loyalty by their language. We must not reduce entire communities to stereotypes because of political differences.
True strength lies in self-control. True leadership lies in protecting human dignity—even when opinions differ. Whether we stand together or walk different paths, we must remember this: our shared humanity is greater than our tribal labels.
Let us choose tolerance over tension. Let us choose dialogue over division. Let us choose respect even when we disagree.
Because at the end of the day, peace is more valuable than pride, and dignity is more powerful than dominance.
May we have the wisdom to respect boundaries, the courage to tolerate differences, and the maturity to value one another—no matter the path we take.
Thank you.
