When I look at everything God has helped me to achieve despite challenges and having to navigate school also, I can only remain thankful to God and my super heroes; my parents and everyone who has in one way or the other contributed to my journey, the Nigeria Chess Federation (NCF), the organisers of these tournaments and everyone.

I'm truly grateful for the continuous push.

As the curtain falls on 2025, I pray God's guidance in your life. I pray God's protection for you. I pray you find support in your personal endeavours. May God bless your journey and may you continue to be successful.

When we travelled to Zimbabwe for the African Youth Chess Championship, we knew one thing for a certainty.

We knew it was going to be tough with many bright chess stars in Africa coming together to battle for the trophies.

But we were determined that we will give everything to ensure Nigeria is well represented and it paid off. I truly appreciate and celebrate the effort of all 6 of us who travelled. We fought on the board heartily together.

Congratulations to you Nwankwo Michelle Chiamaka for emerging champion of the U12 girls category with a WFM title too. I wish you success ahead of the 2026 World Youth Chess Championship.

Dear Agusionu Zita, you fought greatly in the U10 girls category to finish on the podium. You are truly celebrated, WCM.

I truly thank everyone for their contribution to the success of this journey. The Nigeria Chess Federation, my school, Potter's Touch High school, parents and well wishers. I'm deeply grateful. Thank for always stepping up for my support.

To friends and well wishers on here in Facebook, thank you for always cheering for me.

Just before we close out the year, here is a trophy to celebrate.

I'm excited to have won the Silver 🥈 medal at the African Youth Chess Championship (AYCC) in Zimbabwe, finishing as 1st runner up overall.

As a result, I've earned the Woman FIDE Master (WFM) title, conveyed on me by FIDE - International Chess Federation.

I'm sincerely grateful to the support I've received in this journey especially from the Nigeria Chess Federation.
