Being "advanced" is about the quality of your basics.
A "basic" is just a base technique for other movements.
At first your ability to execute basics is immature. You can do them but they're not impressive technically or visually.
With practice, your basics become mature full-bodied movements that are technically and visually impressive.
There's a basic basic and an advanced basic. Keep leveling up!
