a fashion designer.

Funny enough… life took me into a completely different world.

Many of you know me from events, nightlife, entertainment and sports.
𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝘆 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.

For years I’ve been designing pieces, sketching ideas and thinking differently about clothing and accessories.
Simply because I love creating.

It’s more than a name. It’s my middle name.
Vijay Dhiradj Badri.

Derived from the Sanskrit word Dhiraj (धीरज), meaning patience, inner strength, perseverance and self-control.

𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲.

There’s another story hidden inside the name.
My grandfather’s name was HIRA (dHIRAdj) which means diamond.
𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗛𝗝 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗱.
A tribute to my family, my roots and the values they’ve given me.

Over the years I’ve received countless compliments about my clothing, suits and attention to detail.

Maybe that’s because I’ve always looked at fashion a little differently.
