💔 We're not ready for Virgil van Dijk to leave Liverpool...
Speaking to Sky Sports, the captain said: "When that first whistle goes until the final whistle, you have to give everything for that badge.
“And it’s a privilege, it’s such a good thing. Also, before you know it, it’s gone. So you just have to go for it."
When put to him that he didn’t seem the emotional type, Van Dijk laughed.
"You’ll see it in the future," he added.
"Eventually when I have to walk out the club, it will be a very emotional day. It’s been an incredible journey."
Van Dijk is into the final year of his contract. Surely he deserves a new one? 🤞
