Monday Night Football in N17. We welcome Coventry in the prem for the first time in 25 years. Last time out our forward trio of Ferdinand, Iversen & Rebrov each bagged a goal, the ref did his hammy, we used no subs and got no cards. Same again?

The Carabao Cup returns on Tuesday with a visit to Anfield (k/o 2100).

In the last round - a 5-1 victory over Charlton, we celebrated Kevin Dansos first - and last - goal for the Lilywhites before his move to Sunderland.

Thanks for your service Kev 👍

Perhaps a road-trip will settle the nerves (and bring the goals).
Nottingham Forest Away, Premier League, Saturday.

If Wednesday was catharsis, Saturday risks hubris with the visit of Newcastle. Savio's debut against a weakened and beaten Charlton was a lovely sugar rush, but beating the Toon at home is the meat & potatoes that will make for a decent season. Join us at Cafe Parck, 428 Overtoom k/o 18:30.

The Carabao Cup begins on Wednesday when we face Charlton Athletic at home. We dismiss lower league opposition at our peril, but with new signings starting to come in we must hope that Saturday's wet blanket performance was just a glitch. Join us at Cafe Parck, 428 Overtoom k/o 20:45.

The new season begins, and we're keen as mustard to see how RDZ's remodelled Tottenham perform in the Premier League. Brentford are entering their 5th consecutive season in the top flight, and the contest away from home will be a tough one. Join us at Cafe Parck, 428 Overtoom k/o 1830.
