When vulnerability is not held. It does not feel safe.

And yet safety at its core ‘safety’ is an inside job.

You see the program that was installed in you...

The one that says:
“It’s not safe to share my vulnerabilities”

And the pattern that repeats its self with an experience that “proves” it to be true...

Yeah, that program has been installed since childhood.

In fact, almost all of our programs that we are running today come from the subconscious programming we picked up when we were children.

Vulnerability was not a thing in my house.

Emotions weren’t seen or cared for.

Not because my mom didn’t want to, because she didn’t know how.

She was the masculine and the feminine.

We was too focused on keeping the house steady and stable that her feminine didn’t have much space.

Thus, neither did mine 🥺

And that thread has continued into my life today.

Feeling safe to be vulnerable doesn’t come naturally at all 😳

In fact only up until a few years ago did I ever even feel safe showing emotions to others.

The feminine (even being born in a female body) did not come natural to me.

I had to learn how to see her, feel her and support her.

I had to learn how to give her space and how my masculine could support her in feeling safe because I had to relearn the new program that I AM SAFE.

So when I’m in a vulnerable place and feel pressure to share something deep, my nervous system reacts trying to “protect” me and I either:

► freeze
Or
► flee

Ahhh safety.

Then I breathe and once I breath I can remind myself I am safe.

It’s all good.

It’s just feelings.

Feelings are okay.

Vulnerability is okay.

Vulnerability is safe.

And slowly time after time, it takes less for me to recover.

I can share more.

I can sit in the uncomfortability longer.

Time after time I am consciously reprogramming my nervous system.

I am creating safety inside myself.

It helps to communicate this to lovers and friends so they they don’t take it personally.

It helps to be seen so that there is an energetic holding in the relationships closest to me.

We all have trauma’s whether with a big T or a little t.

Are you aware of what s’xual aftercare is?

It’s what a woman (or man) needs after making love.

Conscious s’xuality is about being conscious of the choices, people and the experiences you choose to have.

It’s about knowing your why.

Having an intention.

Conscious communication.

Learning about what your partner/s need and desire from the experience.

Not just before, but after.

What does your partner need once you’ve finished making love?

Do you ever ask them?

Do they need to be held?

Do they need you to stay the night or call them and check in the next day?

Have you ever asked?

A good practice when engaging with a new partner is to get curious and ask.

What feels good in their body after they open up to you.

This gentlemen, is taking your s’xual depth to a new level.

She will be blow away by your care

She might not have the answers, she might feel shocked that you asked...

And it will support her in surrendering more deeply to you
