💚 2024 Year Recap 💚

Last year our green team were out in force at 5 tournaments spanning 4 countries and over 150+ Matches ‼️ We went to higher levels this year in participation numbers and interest is only getting stronger thanks to the tireless efforts from Walter and Ian.

From Umpires making their AFL Europe debut in sunny Kiel to 2 Aussie legends showing their ANZAC spirit in Villers-Bretonneux. Having veterans of the whistle showing out in Lyon to our Coaches hopping across the Pond to Toronto to put on a clinic for our Atlantic mates 🇨🇦 and many more beautiful times.

We couldn’t be any more prouder of every single person who put on a green shirt and stuck a metal whistle in their mouths this year. We hope to see you all back out there in the middle of the pitch in 2025.

📣 GRAND FINALS APPOINTMENTS 📣 We proudly announce that all our 3 umpires have been appointed for the grand final day at Transatlantic Cup!
In order of schedule:
- Ian Kafka-Paterson has been appointed as field umpire for 3/4 place M GB vs France. - Walter Gibilaro has been appointed as field umpire for the Women’s Grand Final between Ireland and USA. - Daniel Wild has been appointed as field umpire for the Men’s Grand Final between Ireland and USA, Ian Kafka-Paterson will be running the boundary line.
