After Warsaw 🇵🇱, the global finance modernisation journey continued in Sydney 🇦🇺.

Over two days with the Australian Finance team, we explored what it takes to become true strategic cross-functional partners who advise, coach and challenge their stakeholders.

Because the business needs more than accurate reporting.

It needs sharper insight.
Stronger challenge.
Better questions.
And trusted partners who help shape decisions and drive impact.

This experience was a real partnership in practice, shaped by the energy and openness of the team, and by close collaboration with Suzanne Calicetto, whose leadership helped connect the insights to the reality of the business.

From conversations to a running race...

Mike and I first met online through the 6 Team Conditions practitioners community. Last weekend, we met for coffee in Amsterdam while Mike was in the Netherlands for work. A short catch-up then turned into joining a local running race in a beautiful Dutch village.

A good reminder that some professional connections move beyond frameworks, calls, and shared practice. They can also create genuine connections, shared experiences, and a sense of momentum beyond the virtual space.

It is easy to think of team effectiveness only in terms of frameworks and diagnostics. But at the centre of all of it is something more : relationships, trust, energy, and shared experience.

I recently travelled to Poland 🇵🇱 to co-facilitate an upskilling programme for a client as part of a global modernisation journey.

Returning to Poland for work is always a great experience and a valued opportunity to be in my home country. ❤️

Over two intensive days, we focused on strengthening the core capabilities necessary for an effective transition and identifying practical ways to collaborate and sustain momentum.

I’m looking forward to coming back to Poland for other projects.
