Out Swim is incredibly proud to receive The King’s Award for Voluntary Service 2025 — the highest honour a UK voluntary group can achieve. 🏅🌈 This recognition celebrates every volunteer, coach, committee member, supporter, friend and family member who gives their time and energy to make our club what it is. This award is for all of you. ❤️

To celebrate LGBT+ History Month, we honour the trailblazers within our club, including Ivan Bussens, whose efforts have shaped the foundation of who we are today. Each year, presents the Ivan Bussens Award in loving memory of Ivan Bussens (1960-2007), a pioneering Out to Swim member whose unwavering dedication played a crucial role in the club’s growth and its commitment to diversity and inclusion.
