What you eat makes a difference.
I know all about it.
For years I had a sensitive gut, and if someone suffers from it know that it ain't funny.
During my burn-out, I was eating quite healthy, although I had moments of letting myself go with sweets or crisps in unhealthy amounts.
I thought I was kind to myself because I didn't say no to my needs and it made me feel better.
So win-win scenario.
I have noticed my body started to change and I got a much more uncomfortable feeling in my belly. Also, my endometriosis got worse, I had more pain and at some point, I stopped being social and even dreamed about finding a job.
It didn't help my mental health as I was feeling even more depressed and unable to live normal life.
After following a healthy diet and sticking to it I feel alive again and I trust my life that it's the way it should go. My experience is worth sharing.
What I want to say is:
-I knew I didn't do my best with my diet
-putting some boundaries for yourself is good
-You are the person who can change your life circumstances, diet, partner, name it!

As a young girl, I stopped appreciating food after my grandfather died.
He always made me laugh and he was the best cook ever.
He made every meal special; heart-warming and fun.
How I miss his sense of humor.
This was my favorite time of the day to spend time with him.
One day while peeling potatoes he said "You see this black mark on potatoes? You always have to cut them out as this can make potatoes very sick and they can get rotten"- less I knew that during this time he got cancer and was preparing himself for an operation.
He died half a year later.
I didn't understand the meaning behind his words as I was only five, but my relationship with food was never the same.
It just becomes a painful reminder of good times spent together.
Why I am telling you this story?
Let's appreciate the important people around us, and make time to have a good time together, stay in the moment, and just enjoy because you never know when life can bring you some "rotten potato".
Life is full of challenges, but we are the creators of our reality and the meaning we give to life circumstances is only our responsibility.

Food is my way of saying
" I love you",
" I care about you" &
" You deserve the best ".
My relationship with food has changed for the better since I started my healing journey.
As a kid, I used food as a way of giving myself pleasure by feeling something else than pain.
As a grown-up woman, I did the same. It's called a coping mechanism and oh, man!
I got a lot of those!;)
Also as a Polish woman, I was taught to feed others and never even think if I liked it or not.
After many years of healing and letting myself have different relationships with food, I discovered that :
- I don't have to put myself in any box to make anyone happy
- what I eat is my business and if you don't understand my choices it's on You
-Yes, I am a picky eater so if you wanna cook for me ask me what I like
-Sometimes I don't like to share food, but it doesn't mean I am a bad person

I think that often we are scared and not sure of our true style, and that's why we are choosing safe options.

Today I woke up feeling anxious and one of the things with keep me going besides a cold shower routine is choosing the way I want to look, and present myself.
Have fun with it and just be creative.
My period is coming and for now, my body feels okay. Hope the endometriosis will be kind to me this month.

This day I felt like the Queen of the world with my best friend next to me and a feeling of appreciation in my heart.
I still remember this day and all the feelings, I stored and keep them safe because gratitude is the best feeling of them all.
I hope you have those days when your heart is open and honest, I wish you to feel pure happiness and the flow with the people you love.
