Final push towards finishing the beautiful new office building for Macaw

From render to reality: Macaw

Macaw, the largest IT service provider in the Netherlands, will move into a new office building and besides the design, D/DOCK is also in charge of the project management. The new workspace of almost two thousand square meters is designed according to our Healing Offices® concept and will be delivered in this years Fall.

The healinghub by Furnify at Salone del Mobile.Milano was a big succes. It was fun experimenting with all the different materials. These seats are made from old copper boiler vessels and paper mache.

Ready for an adventure! We are going to place our newest creation in stores in Barcelona, Berlin, Cologne, and Amsterdam at the same time monday morning!
We even turned the items for Barcelona into this awesome backpack for easy transport.

In the spotlight: Tatami mats

As D/DOCK has its own Tatami Room in the office (a relaxing room filled with Tatami mats and cushions to do yoga, meditate or just relax), we had to implement it in the Healing Hub, but in a non-traditional way. The scent that comes off this mats will bring you into a present state of mind. Ursus Igneus (www.ursusigneus.com) is working on the design of this traditional Japanse mats, who are painted in an indigo color, for an even more calming effect.
