She’s back at Sukha.

And this time, Amy brings together two practices that belong so beautifully together: Yoga Nidra & Restorative Yoga.

The body gets to soften into fully supported poses, while Yoga Nidra takes you into that quiet space somewhere between waking and sleep. No effort. Nothing to achieve. Just a slow unwinding of body, mind and nervous system.

A whole hour to be held, guided and deeply rested.

Next Friday, Sukha opens its doors for a special Kirtan Night: Prayer for Nepal.

The news from Nepal has been heavy on our hearts. In response, this month’s Kirtan Night will be dedicated to the people of Nepal, bringing us together through chanting, prayer and community.

Ananga Manjari and Nilambara Das will guide an evening of soulful kirtan, shared wisdom and connection. Whether kirtan is familiar to you or you have never experienced it before, you are very welcome. No experience is needed. Just come as you are and bring your voice.

All donations from the evening will go directly to Team Humanity, supporting their relief work on the ground in Nepal.

A gentle reminder of what Sukha has always been about.

I believe there is a place in all of us that is naturally peaceful. Joyful. At ease.

Not happy all the time.
Not untouched by life.
Just a quiet baseline underneath all the noise, stress, stories and things we think we have to be.

You don’t have to become a better version of yourself to get there.

Sometimes the body just needs a little help remembering.

Through movement.
Breath.
Rest.
Music.
A hand on your back.
A room where, for an hour, nothing is expected of you.

That’s what I hope Sukha can be.

Not a place to fix yourself.

A place to remember yourself.

LION’S GATE 8/8

All you need to know
(even if you’re not super spiritual)

Every year around August 8, the spiritual world gets very excited about the Lion’s Gate.

The idea is simple:

8/8 is seen as a moment to get clear about what you want, what you’re ready to leave behind, and where you want to be a little braver.

Why the lion?
We’re in Leo season. Leo is associated with the heart, courage and taking up your space.

Why 8/8?
In numerology, 8 is associated with power, possibility and abundance.

And the “gate”?
Think of it less as a literal cosmic portal and more as a symbolic doorway.

You don’t need crystals.
You don’t need to manifest a new life before midnight.

Just ask yourself:

What do I already know
but haven’t had the courage
to act on yet?

That’s enough.
