I used to have debilitating anxiety.
Sweating through my shirt in a supermarket, in a gym, just wanting to go home.
Today I work in one of the busiest gyms in Amsterdam. Not because the fear disappeared on its own. I stopped waiting for it to.
π What actually got me through it:
β
Going at the hour it was least busy
β
Steps so small they almost felt stupid
β
Doing it with someone I trusted.. I hired a trainer myself
β
Asking for help instead of waiting to feel ready
And no, youβre not crazy for feeling this. A gym full of people is overwhelming for a lot of us. It just doesnβt get talked about.
The fear doesnβt shrink because you stay home. It shrinks every time you walk in anyway, with someone next to you who gets it.

πͺπ½ I help you look and feel good
π For busy proβs & bizz owners
A client told me last week that she wished she had my discipline. π
I laughed. I don't think I have any.
Discipline means force. It means willpower. It means dragging yourself somewhere you don't want to go, over and over, until something breaks. And usually the thing that breaks is you. π
Willpower is finite. You wake up with a tank of it and by 4pm it's empty. That's why people are amazing on Monday and gone by Thursday. It's not a character flaw β it's a design flaw. You built a system that runs on the one fuel you can't refill. β½οΈ
Here's what I do instead. π
1 β I get very clear on what matters, and why. π―
My health and my work. I live in a reality where my business thrives, my body is in excellent shape, and I still have time to enjoy the people I love. Not a vision board goal. The reality I'm choosing to live inside every day.
2 β I ask what that looks like on a Tuesday. π
β
Training happens because a strong body is part of that life
β
Sleep is protected because I can't build from an empty tank
β
Work blocks are real blocks, not vibes
β
Time with people I love is in the calendar, not squeezed into the leftovers
3 β I do that. π
Yes, I schedule. Yes, it means saying yes to a few things and no to a great many others.
But here's what nobody tells you: β the no's get easy. Because I love the yes's I'm getting so much that turning something down doesn't feel like sacrifice. It feels like protecting something. π‘οΈ
That's the whole mechanism. It was never discipline. It was clarity. π
β Don't start with the to-do list
β Don't start with the 5am routine you saw online
β
Start with what you actually want
β
Let it fill you up until it's real
The actions become obvious after that. Sometimes they even become easy. π±
What's the one thing you'd protect if you were being honest about it? π
