🔥 Sweatbandy Vikings – Born to Sweat, Built to Battle! 🔥

The roots of floorball go way back to the 1970s in Sweden, where it all started as “Svettbandy” – literally “Sweat Bandy.” Why? Because it was fast, intense, and played in tiny gyms where you’d sweat buckets. For the kids of the late '70s and early '80s, that sweaty chaos was the real deal.

And the “Vikings”? Well… because who doesn’t want to be a Viking?

This is our second time taking on Amsterdamned, and this year we’re bringing in some new firepower 💪. The goal? Go harder, go faster, and hopefully… go further than last year!

🎶 No official team anthem yet – but if it’s loud, fast, and not too slow, we’ll probably crank it.

We’re a blend of 🇳🇱 Dutch drive, 🇸🇪 Swedish sweat, 🇱🇻 Latvian lightning, and 🇨🇿 Czech courage.

Countless. As the team of the host city, we have been there many times.

We don't like watching games before our own, as it may put us in a stressed headspace. We also are not allowed to talk about injuries on the way to a game.

Taking a dip in the canals together with everyone from our club on sunny tournament days.

We were looking for a logo and found a royalty-free image of a Marcassin. This image no longer exists on the internet.

This year, the Lone Wolves are heading to Amsterdamned, and they’re not coming quietly. Fierce, fast, and always a little unpredictable, this team may run solo in name—but on the floorball court, they strike as one.

Officially, we are Union Beynoise Unihockey, but for this tournament, we go by Union Beer Unihockey—because, well… priorities! 😏

🏆 How many times have you played at Amsterdamned before?
Some of our players joined in past years with Paradise City, but this time, we’re bringing our full Belgian squad to battle for the Awesome Cup! 💪😈

From 17-year-old rookies to 38-year-old dinosaurs, we’ve got a mix of fresh energy and experienced legends!

On met la patate by Average Rob—because we always bring the heat! 🔥

100% Belgian! Yes, we love beer and fries—not just a stereotype, but a way of life! 🍟🍻
