A time for more introspection, more yoga at home, nore nurturing your body and mind, more gratitude for the small things, more care for the homeless and sick, more boardgames and reading books and more of self love.โจ๐๐ณ๐ฑ

All emotions are valid and suffering is an inevitable part of life.
Toxic positivity and spiritual bypassing can be dangerous, it ignores your needs and is inauthentic.
Instead I believe the antidote is:
Compassion (self), genuine listening, giving and caring without expectations, true connection, being heard (non judgemental), being seen and to feel acknowledged.๐โค๏ธ

Whatever is going on outside, remember there's a possibility to choose freedom from within. It starts with cultivating a healthy and loving relationship with our own thoughts and emotions ๐งโโ๏ธ.

Every now and then it's time for a 'Looking back and see how much you've grown emotionally' moment.
So now that I know better:
- I care less and less of what other people (or society) think and don't take things personally anymore (being sensitive this is where I'm most proud & confident of)
- I'm open about my vulnerabilities and see it as a strength to share them with others
- I say no quite often and make it clear what my boundaries are in all kinds of relationships (with my ego, workwise, friends, romantic)
- I don't let doubt nor fear hold me back, I know the nature of it and stay mindful of when it's creeping in (not always easy, a doubter by nature)
- Self care & investing in self worth is a Top priority
- I accept people as they are, without feeling the need to change them
- I let my self be guided by my intuition, which means my authentic thoughts and desires and not what I'm 'suppose' to be wanting/ doing ( by some life rules that are made up by?) ( kind of always used to be good at this one, though doubt can sometimes creep in again)
- I surrender to life's cycles of ebb & flow and know that the only thing I can trust is the love in myself, the wisdom of great souls of the past (& from some that are still alive) and in something greater that works in mysterious ways.
