It was awesome to celebrate our junior girls last night who have had a spectacular session, flourishing under the leadership of the coaches including KC, Holly and Rach. Holly was recently awarded volunteer coach of the year at our End of Season awards. All our u12s, u16s and u18s had great seasons playing with Guildfordians, with each age group reaching a cup or bowl final, and the u18s playing at the Stoop for a second year running! Soraiya was awarded player of the season, Shirat was given club woman of the season, and Val is the worthy winner of the Chris Mcarthy award.

Your players of the match from Saturday! pulled out her performance of the season with huge carries, taking multiple players to get her down and crossing the gain line in each time. has been an absolute discovery this season, switching between the wing and the flank with ease, putting in enormous hits and making big metres every time she gets her hands on the ball.

What a way to end the season with a bang! After a tight first half with a try and a couple of penalties keeping the scoreboard ticking over, we pushed ahead in the second half to land the full 5 points on the road against a tenacious Hove side. We will have to see over the next fortnight how the last few games go to find out final league standing - we’ve done all we can!

was on a MISSION with 4 tries, moving at lightning speed with the quick tap pens. Club legend managed to find herself on the end of one of these with her first try of the season but also performed across the park, playing in the back row and marshalling the pack well.

played in the backs for the first time, absolutely smashing it on the wing with excellent positioning, support play, defence and rucking. Lucy showed her usual workrate, somehow getting involved in every ruck and carry simultaneously!

As the season comes towards a close we are INCHES away from transitioning from Game Day Martin to BBQ Martin.

This Saturday is our LAST GAME OF THE SEASON 😮and we are heading down to where they’re putting on a BBQ and, rumour has it, maybe even a slip-and-slide 😏 All welcome, it’s a 3pm KO and we’ll be heading into Brighton post game for a few drinks too 😎🍹

The 1st XV kicked off first, with a huge first half including a hat trick from our Captain. showed great resilience, coming back with a strong second half and two well earned tries but Streatham came firing back to finish on a high. FT 51-12

The 2nd XV demonstrated the huge improvement from their first game of the season against and it was an incredibly well matched game with the two teams exchanging tries throughout the first half before Streats pulled ahead, helped by an hat trick. FT 28-12

A valiant fight by the mighty 2s today as they unfortunately narrowly missed out on the win against Old Ruts, by 3 tries to 2. Full time score 12-22. A huge defensive shift and the team were knocking on the door until the very end but it was not meant to be today.
