Late night unicorn dance π¦π¦π¦!
MONDAYS!!! The sound on this is way out of sync just to be clear ;)
This was a piece that took me to a place in physical fitness that is fleeting.
This is only 1/3 of the dance in this clip. I would run the whole solo, finish, get up and repeat it again. Somedays it was soul destroying as it's so stylized and I would miss a small detail. I would study others, take from them and go back to it. Over time it got better, I wouldn't say easier but things became more fluid until I finally felt comfortable with it. I also had a great ballet master for this piece who pushed me and pushed me in the right way.
My point is, you can push yourself far, however having a little, or lot of the right help will bring you further than you thought!
Putting the theory to practice.
After going through the progressions that we showed in our event, here is one of my clients completing her last set of doubles. This young lady started with 18kg on the lat pulldown and look at her now!
and of course video bombing πππ
Sneaky shot of teaching a little warm-up drill from our weekend! with .
Oh my, what a memory! Thanks for this we certainly had fun! Hammerklavier by Hans Van Manen! This was towards the end of my career as a dancer, I had just returned after my 5th knee operation and got to dance with this amazing ballerina πππ
