The past three months have been full of long days, aching muscles and heartbreaking tears.
Creamy Cashew Wheels are available again hand delivered by me to selected stores!! That’s the great news :)
On the flip side, I had hoped to fill your tables with our Camembertis this holiday but I failed. Success is followed by failures I keep telling myself. Every batch that has failed in the scale-up I have learned from and will continue making improvements until I reach that success point just up ahead. Unfortunately, that moment is unpredictable. On the countless trips I make to and from Belgium I listen to podcasts like How I Built This by Guy Raz. There is some strange comfort in knowing that I am not alone in this and that most successful (food)companies go through many failures and crises before they are able to succeed in scaling-up production. Thanks .raz ! But still, living in the middle of these failed productions is….(please excuse my language) well it just sucks.
I know it is possible, I am so close and this feeling will pass. So, January 1, 2025 I start again. Five steps forward and two steps back. I will continue to work on the scaled-up production of the Camembertis and hope to bring you better news in the new year!
