At 79, Gillo decided to restart her life and joined Omnia 😍

For more than 20 years during her husband’s illness, she devoted herself to caring for him and standing by his side. After his passing, she found the courage to move forward and embrace life again 🫂
She finally chose to care for herself, and strength training became the practice through which she could rebuild her strength, mobility, and stability — allowing her to feel safer and more confident 🚶‍♀️walking outside. After many years of putting someone else first, she was finally able to choose herself.

Gillo had never exercised before. Learning how to move her body correctly — after a lifetime without structured training — has been a challenge for both her and her personal trainer, Daniel. Some days bring stiffness, some days arthritis🦵pain, and every day her body asks for a different approach.
That’s why at Omnia we train holistically, adapting each session to what life — and the body — brings that day.
This journey is not about aesthetics or performance.
It is about quality of life ❤️

Outside the studio, Gillo lives with the same curiosity and openness that she brings to training. She 🎶sings in a choir, meets new people, studies foreign languages — currently Japanese 🇯🇵and Italian 🇮🇹— and recently traveled to Japan, preparing both her mind and her body for the adventure, training at Omnia to get used to spending many long hours on her feet.

Her story is a reminder that movement is not about age.
It’s about possibility 🤩
And sometimes a new chapter begins at 79.

“I am the energy,” Gillo ⚡️says. And we smile back in admiration — what an inspiration she is!!

Meet Victor 💪 — the newest personal trainer at Omnia ✨

Victor grew up playing basketball 🏀 and, like many people, first stepped into the gym simply to get bigger.
But early 🤕injuries pushed him to ask deeper questions:
• Why do injuries happen?
• And how do we create solutions that actually last?

After university, he tried a desk job 👨‍💻— and quickly realized it wasn’t for him. He wanted real human connection 🤝and work that makes a visible difference.

In 2018, he began his journey as a personal trainer — and he hasn’t stopped exploring since.
His curiosity has taken him to seminars and courses with top coaches across 🗺️different countries. For Victor, learning isn’t about collecting certifications — it’s about understanding the WHY behind methods and applying them efficiently in real life 🤩

Through years of coaching — and two major 🩼surgeries of his own — Victor learned something essential:

Training isn’t about looking strong.
It’s about feeling strong.
🏃Moving well.
And having energy ⚡️for life.

He believes in fundamentals that truly work:
• smart strength training
• movement quality
• recovery
• nutrition
• sleep
• stress management

His philosophy is simple:
Aging is inevitable.

🥗Nutrition & Cooking Workshop
The Flavors Lab x Omnia

Join us at Peter Pan Kookstudio on March 21st (12:00–15:30) for an interactive workshop led by a Michelin-level ⭐️chef and an Omnia personal trainer.

A social, hands-on experience where you’ll learn practical nutrition, calorie calculation, and real-life meal prepping — while cooking delicious, balanced meals together 😋
No cooking experience needed!

🧠 The nutrition part
Led by Matan, who completed the Functional Nutrition & Metabolism Specialization — covering metabolism, hormones, digestion, adaptive physiology, thyroid health, and more.
Having personally struggled with digestive issues, immune imbalance, asthma, and Hashimoto’s, he explored solutions to restore his own health — and now helps others navigate similar challenges.

In the practical theory session, you will learn:
Fundamentals of metabolism and calorie management
How to calculate calories and macros using a provided ingredient list
How to adjust portions for maintenance, deficit, or surplus
Meal composition for steady energy and fullness
Smart timing, portioning, and scaling meals for a full week
Planning and rotating ingredients to simplify meal prep

👨‍🍳 The culinary experience
The cooking is guided by Chef Michael, founder of The Flavors Lab, with 15+ years of experience in Michelin-star restaurants and luxury hotels across 8️⃣ countries.

We’ll cook in small groups (2–4 people).
There are 3 different menus in total.

Each menu includes:
1 vegan/vegetarian dish
1 meat dish
1 fish dish
Breakfast + 2 larger meals (interchangeable for lunch/dinner)
All meat/fish dishes can also be made plant-based.
☝️Gluten & lactose intolerance friendly (please note: possible cross-contamination).
After cooking, we’ll enjoy the food together.
*All theory materials, recipes, and practical tools will be sent to you afterwards so you can apply everything immediately.
