The World Dance Council mourns the passing of Karl Breuer, former President and Honorary President of the WDC, a World Champion and an extraordinary leader whose lifelong dedication helped shape international Ballroom & Latin dancing.

His legacy of excellence, leadership and service will remain an enduring part of our history.

Our deepest condolences to his beloved wife Isolde, his family, friends and the entire dancing community.

May his legacy continue to inspire generations to come.
