A Fond Farewell to the Golfstore Ladies

Today marked a special and emotional chapter as I played my final round with three remarkable women who have been instrumental to the success of the Golfstore these past three years Erna, Heleen, and of course, my darling Karen.

We chose Golfclub Wouwse Plantage for our farewell round. The afternoon couldn’t have been more perfect sunlight breaking through the autumn leaves, the air crisp and filled with laughter. The camaraderie and love we’ve built over the years were on full display as we played, joked, and reminisced about the ups and downs of running the Golfstore together.

I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to these incredible women. Erna, Heleen, and Karen your hard work, unwavering support, and dedication to offering nothing but the best in service and expertise made our team strong and our customers happy. It’s not always easy running a golf shop, but with your expertise and commitment, we created something we can all be proud of.

To top off the day, we ended with a lovely dinner good food, heartfelt toasts, and shared stories about our journey. While this may be the end of the Golfstore chapter, the bond we share will continue to be something special.

Thank you, ladies, for everything. Here’s to the memories we’ve created and the bright future that awaits each of us. 😘🙏🏽

Onze winkel sluit binnenkort definitief haar deuren en hoewel dit een emotioneel moment is, kijken we met trots en dankbaarheid terug op de tijd die we samen met u hebben mogen doorbrengen.

Uw steun en vertrouwen hebben ons werk altijd bijzonder gemaakt. Wij willen u uit de grond van ons hart bedanken voor uw loyaliteit en het feit dat u deel hebt uitgemaakt van onze klantenkring. Zonder u was dit avontuur niet hetzelfde geweest.

PGA Holland Monday Tour Golfclub Midden-Brabant

Today’s PGA Holland Monday Tour event was held at the scenic Golfclub Midden-Brabant in Esbeek. The course offered a great challenge with its numerous water hazards, making tee shot positioning absolutely critical. To add to the complexity, the pin positions were, let’s just say, “strategically challenging.” These tricky setups led to a few frustrating 3-putts after lipping out on potential birdies.

Still, I’m pleased to have secured a top 10 finish, wrapping up the day with 74 strokes (+2). A big congratulations to Davey Porsius for his fantastic score of (-5) and well-deserved win!

Huge thanks to Ed for his patience and expert advice on the bag. His support kept me focused throughout the day. Onward and upward from here! 💪
