🇬🇧 Side reins are there to guide the horse, not to restrict it. Correct adjustment and limited use support balance, connection and welfare. Remember to unfasten the side reins after your test when leaving the arena. Welfare first, always. 🐴

🇳🇱 Bijzetteugels zijn er om het paard te begeleiden, niet om het te beperken. Correct afstellen en beperkt gebruik ondersteunen balans, verbinding en welzijn. Vergeet niet de bijzetteugels los te maken na je proef wanneer je de ring verlaat. Het welzijn van het paard staat altijd voorop. 🐴

🇬🇧 Athletes must wear their number on the right arm or right leg. Not wearing a number may lead to an official warning and/or up to 1.0 point deduction in Artistic Score.

Horse numbers may be displayed on the bridle or the pad.

The FEI is discussing a proposal to remove athlete numbers in the future, as horses are already identified by their horse number.

🇳🇱 Atleten moeten hun nummer dragen op de rechterarm of het rechterbeen. Het niet dragen van een nummer kan leiden tot een officiële waarschuwing en/of maximaal 1,0 punt aftrek op de Artistieke Score.

Paardnummers mogen zowel op het hoofdstel als op het voltigepad worden bevestigd.

De FEI bespreekt momenteel een voorstel om atleetnummers in de toekomst af te schaffen, omdat paarden al geïdentificeerd worden via hun paardnummer.
