It’s mid June! Anyone feeling the mid-year burn out yet?
So yeah, I am convinced mid-year burnout is a thing. That halfway point of the year where the new year prospects of possible change are settling in or slowing down.
Being bombarded by “half year reviews” that may stir up some inadequacies or let you know how much you’ve achieved.
If you are feeling that mid year slump, here’s your reminder that you are worthy where you are and every new day is an opportunity to start. Also time is a construct! Also you are doing great! 🤍

This is a bold declaration but one I am ready to stand by!
Everyone deserves and maybe even needs to be listened to fully, without judgement, interruption and advice. To come into silence and be with your thoughts out loud.
That’s my Wednesday word.

My intentional life is revolving around this list at the moment. Setting personal boundaries has been a key milestone in my self-actualisation journey.
If you would like to live your most intentional life,

The baby girl was supposed to start playgroup today, but life played “winter illness bingo” and we landed on Eye infection.
So we all got dressed, packed her bag, walked the 4 mins to the school and did a practice run.
It’s okay to practice sometimes, it’s gets real soon enough.
Just call me Mrs Adaptability.
And of course I had to add in an Asiya Action Shot😂

It’s that time of the year 🎄🌲✨and I’ve got some times to help you feel less overwhelmed and calmer this holiday season.
So here goes;
1. Would it be me if I didn’t recommend a list. Lists on your phone or notebook will help you remember things so that you don’t forget that key ingredient or that boundary that needs to be set for that relative that always has a nasty comment,
2. Keep your spending sensible and set budgets. I am giving myself a weekly spending limit so that I only have a certain amount to spend per week on holiday,
3. Do not forget to enjoy the moments, soak it all in,
4. Before you buy a gift that isn’t needed or will be thrown away 🙈. Ask someone what they really need and give them that,
5. Do not get sucked into social media and the pressure that comes with its distorted reality,
6. It can be a hard time physically and emotionally, make sure you take time to rest and recharge
Lastly Be Kind, it can be a difficult time for many 🤍
I’m sure you have more tips, let me know below

Hello ✨ and Happy New Month!
Welcome New and Old friends. My name is Nyachomba.
It’s about time I re-introduced myself, so here goes.
My passion is nurturing you to plan and create goals with intention.
I do this through my own curated process called Mindful Planning.
It’s been a serendipitous year for me that has resulted in me having a 3 month old business and also led me on a path to seek a coaching certification.
My personal growth has allowed me to enjoy receiving compliments and not being too awkward about it. Most recently I’ve received these ones;
- Nyash you do such a great job of creating space for women to think,
- You are so patient and supportive,
- Nyachomba, you are kind, graceful and encouraging.
If you want to suss out if this is true 😉, book a discovery call (link in bio).
Let me know the best compliment you’ve ever received in the comments.

I saw this quote on stories and it hit me hard.
“The healer also needs healing. The planner also needs surprises. The giver also needs to receive”
Why did I find it so powerful?
Because my mindful planning approach is based on being a planner but expecting the surprises that life brings.
Since my 20s I always vaguely planned with a fixed Vision Board that remained the same. My board felt like it was set in stone,I had to achieve what was on there and there was certainly no room for surprises.
Cue 2019 and I learned that planning should allow for shocks and 2021 Mindful Planning was born.
I truly can say that by adding surprises to your planning, you become more resilient and better able to handle a lot that comes with adulting.

The average time it took for painters in the 17th and 18th century to finish their pieces was 2 years. Some commissions took up to 4 years.
Dedication,
Time,
Meticulousness,
What one thing are you willing to put time, dedication and passion into?

How many times in a year (and no, not at the end of the year or on your birthday)do you take time to think about what wins you’ve had or what you’ve done well.
I can bet you not often enough!
I noticed that one of the hardest parts of my mindful planning sessions is when I ask my clients to think about their wins from the past few months.
I wish this wasn’t the case and we all included thinking about our wins regularly as part of our self care.
So here’s your reminder to reflect on your wins for a myriad of reasons.
Share this with someone who needs to hear it even if it’s yourself 😊

I was supposed to announce something big this week! A culmination of a lot of work, purpose and passion.
Launching a Planner.
This hasn’t panned out because typical things don’t always go as planned.
Am I disappointed, a little! Am I giving up, absolutely not. 2021 Nyachomba is taking her time and being patient to put out something good and useful.
