𝗟𝗜𝗭𝗭𝗬 𝗞𝗪𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗔𝗞
And finally we're proud to announce that young pitching talent Lizzy Kwakernaak has decided to join Sparks Haarlem. Lizzy is currently in the US playing for Florida SouthWestern State College and made her debut in the National Team in 2025. Looking forward to see you defend our colors in 2026 Lizzy!

𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗘 𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗚𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗗
Part of our vision has always been to invest in young talented pitchers. The first introduction is someone who already made her innings in Sparks 1 in 2025. For 2026 Mathilde Hoogland has earned her spot on our fulltime 2026 roster by showing great work ethics and huge progress. Well deserved Til!

𝗨𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗡𝗡𝗔 𝗝𝗢𝗡𝗚-𝗟𝗢𝗬
And here's another one! Uchenna Long Joy joins Sparks. A versatile player, we've been chasing for many years and finally she decided to wear red and blue! Next to her softball skills, Uchenna brings one of the brightest smiles you ever seen on the diamond. Welcome Uche!!

𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗢𝗧𝗧𝗘 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗝𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦
The second new player we would like to introduce, has just passed the "young talent" stage. But we feel she has large potential to grow to a leading player in our sports. A warm welcome to Charlotte Drijvers!

𝗡𝗢𝗔 𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗜𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗧𝗢
Now it’s about time we introduce our new players! This offseason hasn't only brought us young talents but also a few very experienced and talented players. First up Noa Armirotto! After several years both in The Netherlands as well in Italy, Noa has decided to join Sparks for the 2026 season. Welcome Noa!

𝗦𝗨𝗞𝗔 𝗩𝗔𝗡 𝗚𝗨𝗥𝗣
And finally, we're sad to say this legend has decided to move to Neptunus. S**a has been with Sparks for many years and lit up Sparks in many ways. We will always be grateful for what you brought to the team, the staff, the fans and the organization. You will always have a special place in our hearts and wish you all the best in the future!

𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗞 𝗛𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗟
This is not a final goodbye but let's call in a break. Patrick "caterpillar" Howell has decided to take a well deserved break from softball. We love you Patje and we’re very sorry for all the times you got hit at bp!

𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗔 𝗢𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗦
The second player who has decided to change teams is our favorite "brabo" Nina Oomes. After many years in red and blue, Nina will move closer to home, to Roef! Thanks Nina, for your dedication, immense hard work and bringing fun to Sparks on and off the field. Although you'll be wearing different colors next year, you'll always be part of our family!

𝗞𝗘𝗟𝗦𝗬 𝗣𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗠𝗔𝗡
With the 2026 season approaching, we unfortunately have to say goodbye to three players and one staff member.

First one is Kelsy Pieneman who will return to Amsterdam Pirates, after two years of being a Sparkle. Thanks for all your hard work and fun times Kelsy. Best of luck!
