Francesca Luzzi, known to everyone as Franca, was Renzo’s wife and, together with him, worked for over sixty years to grow the Longoni brand, transforming it into an internationally recognized name. She especially enjoyed being called Mrs. Longoni, a title she always carried with pride and a deep sense of belonging.

She was also the founder of Norditalia Ricambi, the commercial branch of the Longoni family dedicated to the distribution of billiard spare parts, which under her leadership became a European point of reference in the industry.

From 2013, she retired from the company’s day-to-day operations and devoted herself to private life, while continuing to follow the company’s developments with care, affection, and involvement, always remaining informed about its evolution.

Born in Potenza in 1936, she experienced the hardships of the Second World War as a child. After graduating in accounting, she began her professional career at Moto Guzzi in Lecco, where she worked in the Executive Management Secretariat until her marriage to Renzo in 1960. From that moment on, she dedicated her life to work and family, always at her husband’s side.

A woman of great energy and strong character, she was personally involved in key business decisions, in managing relationships, and in opening new markets, leaving a deep and lasting mark.

Yesterday, at 11:40 p.m., she passed away peacefully.
Faith and the closeness of many friends, near and far, help make this moment of sorrow more bearable.

Her memory and her teachings will continue to guide our lives and our business endeavors, with renewed strength and motivation.

The "Armonia – Yellow Edition" is the current official cue of the great Belgian carom champion Frédéric Caudron. It is crafted from Ural and stabilized Karelian birch, a rare and highly prized wood known for its natural beauty.

What many people don’t know is that this model is enhanced with genuine 925 sterling silver inlays. Longoni is officially authorized to work with precious metals, and each cue bears both the silver hallmark and the unique identification code that certifies our license to use noble materials.

The FC10 shafts, developed in collaboration with Belgian carom champion Frédéric Caudron, embody the very best of Longoni Stratos technology. Made from 10 sections of selected Ural wood, they deliver an ideal balance of stability, solidity, and exceptional control.
Unlike other composite materials, Ural wood is not just surface-dyed: this allows the shaft to be sanded like a traditional wooden shaft without losing its deep black color.
Production requires long seasoning times, which makes availability limited. The first batch — available with wood thread and VP2 joint — will soon be delivered to all customers who have already placed their pre-order.
Due to high demand and the careful production process, wait times may extend to several months: pre-ordering is the best way to secure your shaft and receive it as soon as possible.
