De Mixed Cricket Club „Hengelo” is opgericht op 1 mei 1954 en speelt met een elftal in de nationale competitie en met een aantal jeugdspelers bij andere clubs in het oosten. Wij zijn op zoek naar cricketers die ons elftal kunnen versterken in 2013.

Hengelo-1 marked a remarkable return to form by clinching a thrilling victory against Qui Vive-5, winning by just 5 runs. In a nail-biting finish, they successfully defended a modest target of 11 runs in the last 4 overs. What an exhilarating match! 🏏✨

A collective team effort from Hengelo-1 has helped them to put par score on board and defend it successfully making them the new leaders of the group-2B despite playing 2 games less.
MCC Hengelo-2: Round-8
Much needed win for Hengelo-2 to get back to winning ways, as a team effort while defending 140 has proved their mettle.
Special mention: Memorable debut for Anzal Memon who was the key in the middle overs.

A lone warrior knock from Sri Kolla isn’t sufficient to take Hengelo-2 past Zwolle-1. Key areas identified to improve on.

MCC Hengelo-1: Round-6:
A 6th wkt partnership of 81runs helped Hengelo-1 to post a total of 159 which was defended with ease by our bowlers.
Special mention: Murari Vijay for taking great catches to dismiss the opposition top-order in quick succession.

A setback for Hengelo-2 away from home. Key points noted, back to the drawing board.

On 8th of June we have organized a cricket clinic for hockey club DHC Drienerlo as part of their team uitje.
The clinic started off with a brief introduction about cricket and explanation of various important laws followed by batting, bowling and fielding drills including a mini cricket match at the end.
In total 34 members participated during the clinic 🤩
Thanks to all the volunteers who supported us during the clinic.

Hengelo-2 has put a collective effort to win against Salland-3 by 10runs.
Special mention: Remarkable debut by Sri Kolla scoring 40runs with the bat and 5 dismissals as a keeper.

Hengelo’s lower middle-order gave a strong comeback with the bat to post a fighting total when the team was struggling at 47/5.
A collective effort with the ball helped Hengelo to bundle out visitors for 104.

Match to be rescheduled due to wet outfield.
Round-3: Hengelo-1 beat Qui Vive-3 away by 49runs.
