Besides the ultimate challenge the SUP 11-City Tour is also an unique experience.

Athletes from all around the world take on the 𝗨𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 as they paddle 220 kilometers (136 miles) through the 11 historical cities of beautiful Friesland (The Netherlands) in all kinds of weather conditions Athletes will experience the ultimate challenge as they paddle 220 kilometers (136 miles) in five days with weather conditions varying from windless, beautiful and sunny to cold, rainy and stormy. Over 100 national and international paddlers get to know Friesland from the water. Open fields with windmills, cows, and sheep will present itself along the water ways exchanged by eleven historical cities built from 1700 onwards. Participants paddle the original waterways, where the ice skaters started conquering this historical tour 101 years ago on frozen waters. SUP 11-City Supporters come from all over the country and from all over the world to Friesland to encourage participants from bridge to bridge, and from town to town.

𝗦𝗨𝗣 𝟭𝟭-𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿? 🥪👀

Travelling through Friesland with the SUP 11-City Tour crew means visiting eleven cities, following the paddlers and, apparently, discovering some pretty good food spots along the way. 😋

One of those hidden gems? Homminga's fijne winkeltje in Harlingen! 💙

During day 3, we stopped by this lovely local shop to pick up some freshly made sandwiches for the crew. And what better place to enjoy them than right by the water, while cheering on the paddlers ringing the bell in Harlingen? 🔔

A big thank you to Homminga’s for treating our crew to such a delicious lunch! Definitely a stop worth remembering (and revisiting). 🙌🏼

It’s been almost a month since we wrapped up the SUP 11-City Tour 2026. And we’re already looking forward to doing it all again!

Familiar faces, new paddlers, beautiful Frisian scenery and another adventure through the eleven cities. 🙌🏼

Registration opens towards the end of October, with an Early Bird discount to kick things off. More details coming soon!

We know some of you are already waiting to sign up for the 2027 SUP 11-City Tour. 💙

Registration will open towards the end of October, so not quite on October 1st just yet.

Behind the scenes, we’re working on a brand-new registration system to make signing up for the SUP 11-City Tour easier and smoother. We need a little more time to get everything ready before we open the doors.

We’ll share the exact opening date as soon as it’s confirmed. And remember: when registration opens, we’ll start with an Early Bird discount. 👀🔥

𝗡𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘀𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿😍

The SUP 11-City Tour is 220 km and it definitely has its tough moments. Long days, tired arms, wind, rain and plenty of kilometres to go. But no one has to do it alone. We encourage each other, help each other through the difficult moments, and keep going together. 💙

That’s what makes the journey so special!

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟱 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 📸💙

The final day. From Dokkum all the way back to where it started: Leeuwarden.

One last stretch along the Dokkumer Ee, past Bartlehiem and through the Frisian countryside. The Race paddlers had their time trial to focus on, while everyone else settled into those final kilometres towards the Prinsentuin.

And then, one by one, they arrived. Tired, relieved and with plenty of smiles at the finish. Five days on the water came to an end right back in the heart of Leeuwarden. ❤️

A final day with a lot to look back on.
