Anyone else feeling that end-of-January slump? 🥱
I started the year full of energy, ready to make big things happen. But now I just feel drained, kind of unmotivated, and honestly questioning where all that “new year, new me” energy even went.
Maybe it’s the lack of sun. Maybe it’s winter fatigue. Or maybe I just expected too much too soon.
If you’re feeling this too, here’s your reminder: you’re not failing, you’re just in a natural pause. Motivation isn’t a constant—it comes in waves. And sometimes, the best thing you can do isn’t to push harder but to slow down and reset.
Here’s what’s been helping me:
✨ Check in with yourself. What do you actually need—rest, fresh air, a break from pressure? Listen carefully, don't judge.
✨ Reframe your progress. Instead of focusing on what’s not done, look at how far you’ve already come.
✨ Reconnect with your “why.” What truly matters to you, beyond the pressure of achievement?
So if you’re feeling off, be kind to yourself. The energy will return, I promise! In the meantime, take a deep breath, pour yourself a cup of something warm (non-alcoholic), and trust that progress is still happening—even in the slow moments.

I’m a professional coach with background in communications and psychology. Plus, some serious experience navigating change: I’ve moved a lot, lived in six countries and know firsthand what it’s like to start over, search for meaning, and build a life that truly feels like yours. I’m a bilingual coach (English and Russian) based in the Netherlands. I also happen to speak German, Czech, and Ukrainian and would be happy to connect in any of those languages.
