KMU Intensive Course
Yeah be ready want Krav Maga Union organiseert dit jaar een KMU intensive courseā¼ļø Deze cursus is primair gericht op het intensief begeleiden van KMG studenten van 360 Defence & Dutch Krav Maga in regio Amsterdam, Rotterdam en Utrecht.
De course zal worden gegeven door:
- Kais Malek, Expert Level 2, Sportschool 360 Defence
- Ahmet Sahin, Expert Level 2, Sportschool Dutch Krav Maga
- Reginald Kooij, Graduate Level 5, Sportschool 360 Defence
Focus op:
- Niet alleen curriculum, maar focus op vaardigheden & diepgaande kennis
- Span of control van max 1 instructeur op 6 studenten, bij meer aanmeldingen zullen overige high levelled instructeurs worden toegevoegd aan het instructor team
- Conform KMG reglementen: examen voor p-levels, dit geldt niet voor G-levels. De G-levels bereiden zich voor op officieel KMG G-examen en doen een pre-test
- 50 uur trainen: eat, sleep, krav maga repeat and a lot of laughs

The Nose
The nose is an excellent spot to hit someone if you donāt necessarily want to knock them out. Scientifically speaking, it only takes a few pounds of pressure to break a personās nose, anywhere from 7-9 pounds. A punch to the nose is disorienting, thanks to the pain of the broken cartilage and all the blood that goes with it. The nose is also connected to your eyes via tear ducts, meaning damage to the nose often results in tears-and, thus, temporary loss of vision.
The Chin/Jaw
The chin and/or jaw are great places to really put somebody out, and luckily, it doesnāt need to be very accurate to have the desired effect. People talk a lot about hitting someone on the ābutton,ā but believe it or not, that button doesnāt exist. The reason a whack in the jaw can knock somebody out is, your brain is this big giant thing, floating around in liquidāand itās super sensitive. Knocking someone with a good straight right or even jab to the chin or jaw can cause enough trauma that the brain will actually bounce inside the skull and momentarily shut down. That is a knock out.
Behind/around the Ear
In amateur and professional fighting, itās usually illegal. But the street and in the ring are two completely different things. Thereās a big bundle of nerves in this area, a direct tap on these nerves canāand frequently doesāyield a knockout.
The Neck
The human neck is an exceptionally vulnerable spot. For the side of the neck, a sharp strike downward will hit whatās called the vagus nerve. The vagus nerve is the longer cranial nerve thatās responsible for carrying a lot of information from the brain to the rest of your body. A sharp strike on the vagus nerve can result in dizziness, disorientation, or even unconsciousness.
