Happy Birthday, Yogi Bhajan 💛

“But… I can’t sing.”

The beautiful thing about mantra is that it isn’t about performing. It isn’t about having a beautiful voice or musical talent.

It is about vibration, breath and presence.

Your voice is enough.

And something special happens when a whole room begins to chant together.

Have you ever experienced mantra meditation?

“It is life changing.”

Those were the first words she wrote down after the very first training weekend.

She didn’t join because she wanted to become a yoga teacher.

She joined because she wanted to understand Kundalini Yoga more deeply.

During the year, the training became much more than learning to teach. It became a practice she could rely on during one of the most challenging periods of her life.

Every student’s journey is different.

What they all have in common is that they start with themselves.

If you’re curious about the training, join one of our free online introduction workshops, or request a free call with one of our trainers.

Fun fact. Most people don’t join to become a yoga teacher.
They join because something in their life has changed.

A burnout. A loss. A divorce. Menopause. Or simply a feeling that life is asking for something different.

They come to understand what they have experienced through Kundalini Yoga.

Learning to teach often comes later.

It begins with your own journey.

We’re curious…

👉🏼What first brought you to Kundalini Yoga?

Ze kwam om kundalini yoga docent te worden en kreeg veel meer. Tijdens de laatste week van de opleiding deelt Hedwig over het transformatie proces van het afgelopen jaar.

What brings people to a Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training?

Sometimes it is curiosity.

Sometimes a life transition.

Sometimes a feeling that there must be more.

The teaching is important.

The community is important.

But for many participants the deepest learning happens in the conversations, the challenges, the friendships and the commitment to show up again and again.

Free introduction workshops in July, August and September.

You do not grow only through what you learn.
You grow through the people you meet along the way.
That is why Sangat is so important.
Not because everyone thinks the same.

But because we help each other remember something greater than fear, doubt and old stories.

Yesterday two Teacher Training groups came together.

By the end of the day, nobody felt like a separate participant anymore.

This is the magic of practising together.

Eating together.

Growing together.

Your mind is constantly generating thoughts — the practice is not to stop them, but to transform your relationship to them.
This powerful praanayam helps balance the sun and moon energies within, creating greater mental clarity, radiance, and inner stability.
When the mind becomes balanced, the projection of your energy changes. Your presence becomes clearer, calmer, and more grounded.
Take a moment to breathe, reset, and return to your center.

Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training

Why would someone start a Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training at 45, 50 or even 60 years old?

Most people do not join because they want to become a yoga teacher.

They join because something has shifted in their lives.

A burnout.
A loss.
A career change.
Children leaving home.
Or simply the feeling that there must be more to life than rushing from one thing to the next.

Kundalini Yoga offers practical tools to meet change with more awareness, resilience and trust.
