Gefeliciteerd. De uitslag kun je hier lezen. https://www.schoonspel.nl/toernooien-tournaments/mcr-dutch-open/mdo-2024

The MCR Dutch Open provided a complete Dutch podium. A reborn Anton Kösters takes the victory. Second place goes to the very talented Floor Perquin and third place goes to the usually riichi playing Ivar Bouwman. Congratulations. Ranking can be found at https://www.schoonspel.nl/toernooien-tournaments/mcr-dutch-open/mdo-2024

What ended with a fizzle in the fifth round turned out to be fatal for Ivar Bouwman in the sixth round. Coming off the table with zero points is not good. Although there were three very strong opponents who were also very lucky. Anton Kösters is the leader before the start of the last round. Floor Perquin is one point behind in second place. Another point behind is our tough Viking who has certainly not given up the fight.

The fifth round is over and leader Ivar Bouwman a.k.a. Wickie makes a mistake for the first time. Luckily for him, his competitors did the same. But the sub-top is rapidly approaching. Antoinette Kruijer (second from the left) is currently at the bottom of the ranking. It's simply not her weekend. But the poodle prize, a beautiful mug, is within reach.

It's only the fourth round of seven. And the decision will certainly not be made today. But at table 2 there are four top 10 players. From left to right we see Ivar Bouwman (1st), Gert van der Vegt (6th), Caroline Warmerdam (3rd) and Nicolas Baptiste (9th)
