With great joy, pride, and gratitude, we are thrilled to announce that today, Friday 27 June, Elaine Sensei has successfully passed her 7th Dan exam in Ibaraki, Japan! 🇯🇵✨

She is now the first Shinkage-ryu iaidoka in Europe, within the line of Matsuoka Sensei and Kinomoto Sensei, to achieve this remarkable rank.

Our deepest thanks go to Matsuoka Sensei and Kinomoto Sensei for their continuous guidance and support throughout the years. We are also especially grateful to Ishido Sensei for his invaluable advice, even over the phone on the very last day.
