-The difference has been made.
On an ordinary Sunday we arrived in Kpvodiadzi, a village 3 hours drive from Accra. It was very quiet in the village and in the fields. After 2 days of organizing soccer clinics and distributing 360 balls, this had become an active “soccer village”. When we left the field was full, children were playing soccer all day (including at home) and activities were going on everywhere. Just to give one example from the past few weeks.
Thanks to you, we have been able to donate a total of 730 balls in the past weeks at the various camps in Kisseman (170), a school in Accra (200) and in Kpoviadzi (360). See the previously captured images. This allows the children to play soccer with each other all year round. Thank you one more time on behalf of all children and communities in Ghana for your donation!

Op een doodgewone zondag kwamen wij aan in Kpvodiadzi, een dorpje op 3 uur rijden van Accra vandaan. Het was muisstil in het dorp en op de velden. Na 2 dagen voetbalclinics organiseren en het uitdelen van 360 ballen was dit een actief “voetbaldorp” geworden. Toen we vertrokken stond het veld vol, kinderen waren heel de dag (ook in huis) aan het voetballen en overal waren activiteiten gaande. Om maar 1 voorbeeld te geven van de afgelopen weken.
Dankzij u hebben wij namelijk in de afgelopen weken op de diverse kampen in Kisseman (170), een school in Accra (200) en in Kpoviadzi (360) in totaal 730 ballen kunnen doneren. Zie de eerder gemaakte beelden. Hierdoor kunnen de kinderen het hele jaar door voetballen met elkaar. Nog 1 keer namens alle kinderen en communities in Ghana bedankt voor uw donatie!
Last week we were with our team in Kpoviadzi. Our goal: to make an impact in a village where there is a lot of poverty. Mission accomplished!

Week 3 in Ghana is already a blast. A new great group of coaches to work with. It’s already the last day of the course. How this week ends? You see it very soon!

- Our weeks in Ghana would never have been so fantastic without all the donated materials. In addition to the 730 donated balls, many involved from BGC Floreant, V & A.V. Hazerswoudse Boys, Rijnsburgse Boys (Jeugdopleiding RBB), HSV Heiloo (and De Foresters Heiloo), Bouncers Basketball and so many others who also donated a lot of (soccer) material. The children, adults and coaches from the poorest places in Ghana (and other African countries) are very happy with it. Thank you on behalf of everyone!
- Onze weken in Ghana hadden nooit zo fantastisch geweest zonder alle gedoneerde materialen. Naaste de 730 gedoneerde ballen hebben velen betrokkenen van BGC Floreant, Hazerswoudse Boys, Rijnsburgse Boys, HSV Heiloo (en De Foresters), Bouncers Basketball en velen anderen ook heel veel (voetbal) materiaal gedoneerd. De kinderen, volwassenen en coaches vanuit de armste plekken in Ghana (en anderen Afrikaanse landen) zijn er heel blij mee. Namens iedereen bedankt!

Week 2 in Ghana was amazing! The coaches received valuable training, we organized a camp for dozens of girls who received a donated ball (and Watford uniform) and of course we played a coaches-game. Another win for all coaches!

- Earlier we saw what an impact 1 ball can have on a group of children in Ghana. This week we organized a camp for dozens of girls who have never played football before. At the end of the camp they could take a ball with them so that they can continue playing football all year round. Thanks to your donations, we can make no less than 730 children happy with a ball in the coming weeks. Fantastic!
- Eerder hebben we gezien wat een impact 1 bal kan hebben op een groep kinderen in Ghana. Deze week organiseerde we een kamp voor tientallen meiden die nog nooit gevoetbald hebben. Aan het eind van het kamp konden zij een bal meenemen waardoor ze het hele jaar door kunnen blijven voetballen. Dankzij jullie donaties kunnen wij komende weken maar liefst 730 kinderen blij maken met een bal. Fantastisch!
