Na enkele jaren naast de eerste prijs gegrepen te hebben, heeft Fumetsu de titel van de sterkste dojo van Nederland weer binnengehaald! Het Fumetsuteam heeft vandaag keihard en slim gevochten tijdens de Nederlandse kampioenschappen teams in het verre Groningen. Gefeliciteerd!

It's over! Since 2019 we haven't had a European Championship anymore, but finally in the last weekend of May, the national teams came together to battle it out again. Coach Werner has selected Pakwan, Mariëlla, Rick, Joeri and Dai Linh to be part of the Dutch representatives. Seekee went as team manager to guide the delegation and Koos sensei as delegation leader/shinpan.
This time, no medals were brought back home, but they fought hard. And Dai Linh finished best 8 individually. For his strong fighting he was awarded the fighting spirit prize! Well done!
Sayo (living in Japan) and Fleur (Museido/Yoshindo) also managed to reach the quarter finals and Fleur brought back the fighting spirit prize at the ladies individual!
A special mention for Joeri. He announced that this was his last appearance for the Dutch team. Thank you for these fantastic years Joeri! You've brought the Fumetsu spirit to the world!
Also, there were a lot of Dutchies in the crowd some of them from Fumetsu. Lauwe Mok knows exactly how to cheer the right way!

The saturday training is ofcourse for everybody, just like the normal lessons on weekdays. Bring your best mood and strike the weekend open!

Last Sunday the 12th of December we finally had the Dutch Championships. It's been quite a while since the last individual tournament and everyone was really looking forward to it. There were still some rules to follow considering covid, so it had to end before 17:00.
It was a great (and cold) day, and we've had great results!
Pakwan got first place at the ladies, and Risako got third!
In the mixed tournament, Pakwan came in third and a special shout out to Lai Mei, Pakwan and Risako who all managed to win from (former) Dutch men team members.
A great day and enough things to bring home to the trainings. After this lockdown 😁.
