For the first time in the Netherlands: Cliford & Gaëlle Jasmin! 🇭🇹 Open level konpa workshop with one of the most iconic and influential couples in konpa dance

📆 Monday 9th of November
🕢 20:00-22:00
📍 Nova Cultura, Horsweg 10, 3192 ED Hoogvliet Rotterdam, Netherlands Nova Cultura
🎟️ 40€/person or 70€ per couple

Who are Cliford & Gaëlle?

Cliford and Gaëlle have extensive expertise in Caribbean social dances, including konpa, salsa, bachata, chachacha, bolero, and merengue.

Since 2011, they have been actively and successfully promoting konpa. It was added in the class schedule for their school Salsabor Paris in September 2011.

They have done influential work in codifying konpa dance. In 2021 they released a book & DVD “Tout sur la danse Compas/Konpa” (“All about Konpa/Compas dance”) to teach people how to dance konpa. It is available on their website konpadance.com

Their current dance community is based in Jacmel, Haiti.

Their teaching takes into account all the important aspects for dancing well, while respecting the particularities of each dance, through, among other things, courses in rhythm & musicality, ladies & men styling, movement techniques & placement, turn techniques, history of dance... for all levels, from complete beginners to professionals.
