"I got into riding the stubbies 5 years ago. Shoulder high, head high, a little overhead swell, a little wind giving a little texture, it'll get 'em going, definitely!! [...]
Obviously surfboard shapes and designs progressed, but the thing with the stubbies is, they never changed. They're always true to their form and to the way they're supposed to be ridden.
There's such a feel that comes from riding those boards that you don't get with any other surfboard, and I think that's what surfing's all about."

This was the first time we sprayed a blank before glassing, and I can tell you it was quite the experience 😅 but it turned out the way Lars wanted it, and we learned loads 💚💛❤️

This board came out of the desire for a more hybrid long.

Those of you that know me a bit know that I love longboarding. I have a 9'0 Phil Grace performance long which is my favourite when travelling when the waves are a bit more powerful, it's got a lot of rocker and a low volume rounded pintail.
When surfing in NL, unless it's pumping (which doesn't happen often), I found that it doesn't really work for me, so I wanted to build a board with a bit more volume, broader tail, less rocker, but still semi performance oriented.
I think the outcome is pretty great 💚💛❤️ stoked af to get her wet!!!
